    Provides residents transportation, in volunteer-owned vehicles, to medical and dental appointments in the area.  FISH will also sometimes take clients shopping or to the hairdresser.  No fees, but contributions can be made.  This is a volunteer program.

    Geer’s Dial-A-Ride service provides door-to-door transportation for residents of North Canaan, Falls Village, Salisbury, Cornwall and Sharon. Monday through Friday.  Transportation is provided for non-emergency medical appointments, shopping and day-to-day errands. Long distance trips to medical appointments are available once a week. Trips to Farmington, Avon, Hartford, etc… The vehicle is handicap accessible. There is no charge for this service. Donations are accepted.  Contact:  ipowers@geercares.org

    The Northwest Connecticut Transit District provides Curb-To-Curb Transportation service in the 16 towns throughout Northwest Connecticut. A 24 hour advance is requested to reserve your ride.  Transportation is provided for nutrition programs, medical, shopping and for any other social and personal purposes.  All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and our slogan is “We Will Get You There”.
